Mossad ad

A unique recruiting ad the Mossad published in an Israeli newspaper on the eve of Passover, in the form of a coded riddle, received an unprecedented response — more than 25 thousand visits were recorded, of Mossad hacker wannabes. Most failed and gave up at the early stages, but a few hundreds managed to get to the coveted page where they were requested to upload their CV. Out of those, a few dozens were deemed fit to start the recruitment process. (See our story, Crack this Code and Join the Mossad).

The Mossad folks had expected the unusual ad to generate much interest, but did not expect it to be such an enormous hit. Many of the inquiries came from abroad. And we’re told a few foreign intelligence services plan to adopt the Mssad’s method.
