Prime Minister Netanyahu with US Secretary of State, John Kerry, in Jerusalem on Nov. 24, 2015.

The Prime Minister was diplomatically well-armed for Kerry, according to the Haaretz report, which said that he met Kerry two weeks ago with a pile of ideas to help the Palestinian Authority, but only if the Obama administration would recognize reality and given a green light for construction of homes for Jews in Gush Etzion, Maaleh Adumim, Ariel and other areas where there is a heavy concentration of Jews.

President Obama has backed himself into a corner. For years, he has backed the Palestinian Authority demand that Israel on principle surrender virtually all of Judea and Samaria, as well as half of Jerusalem.
