Gaza rioters during clashes with Israeli forces along the border east of Gaza City (file)

Dozens of Gazans were wounded Friday in riots at the security fence along the border with Israel.

At least 5,000 rioters gathered at various points along the security barrier in renewed attempts to breach the border and attack IDF soldiers and Israelis living in the area.

The Hamas terrorists operating under cover of the riots and the thick black smoke emanating from the tires burned by the rioters led Gazans in attacking soldiers, using slingshots to send rocks flying across the border.

IDF soldiers used tear gas in response to disperse the mobs of attackers.
