The Israel Defense Force issued a statement Monday night announcing that three Hamas terrorists were “thwarted” by Israeli forces in the south.

It later became clear that the IDF eliminated the terror cell with an aerial attack in Gaza.

“The terrorist cell was “involved in terrorist activities in northern Gaza,” the IDF said.

The military added that Israel is “heading towards days of fighting for the Hamas organization, to feel the powerful arm of the army.

“Our response will be sharp and will last for days,” the IDF said.
