The Israeli Defense Forces have issued an invitation for Iranians to apply to work for the Mossad. The invitation was published on the IDF’s Farsi-language X social media account.
The invitation reads as follows:
“Dear citizens of Iran,
We understand your difficult situation in light of the difficult circumstances the regime has created for you.
“In recent days, we have received many messages from loved ones who are worried about the current uncertain future. Even those who identify themselves as members of the regime’s security institutions express their fear, despair, and anger at what is happening in Iran and ask us to contact Israeli authorities – so that Iran does not suffer the same fate as Lebanon and Gaza.
“It is important to clarify here that we are not the appropriate authority for such requests. But the least we can do is refer you to the Mossad website via this link:
https://mossad.gov.il/fa/contact-us
“Maybe – maybe you’ll find a new way to improve your situation there. Be sure to note and make sure you only contact us using an external VPN!
“We understand that you are yearning for a better future. May God Almighty be your helper and companion.”
The invitation was issued as Israeli forces began targeting Iran’s internal security forces. These are the paramilitary police units responsible for suppressing dissent and maintaining control over the population.
They are the same forces that have been used by the regime to crush past uprisings and halt public protests and demonstrations.
