Iranian regime airports targeted by the Israeli Air Force

The Israeli Air Force bombed six Iranian regime airports in western, eastern, and central Iran on Monday, targeting runways, underground hangars, a refueling aircraft, and Iranian regime F-14, F-5, and AH-1 aircraft.

The attacks came as part of the effort to expand air superiority over Iranian skies, destroying aircraft were intended for use against IAF jets to prevent strikes within Iranian territory.

The IAF impaired takeoff capabilities from the targeted airports, as well as the Iranian military’s ability to operate its air force from them.

Israeli warplanes also carried out new airstrikes against the Fordow Nuclear Facility on Monday, targeting the access routes leading to the underground site.

The operation was carried out to hinder movement to and from the facility, following the US airstrike on the site over the weekend, the military said.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters, however, that the US attack on Fordow late Saturday night “completely obliterated” the facility.

“We are confident, yes, that Iran’s nuclear sites were completely and totally obliterated,” she said. “We have a high degree of confidence that where those strikes took place is where Iran’s enriched uranium was stored. This operation was a resounding success.”

On Sunday, IAF fighter jets struck the “Imam Hussein” Strategic Missile Command Center in the Yazd area, where long-range Khorramshahr surface-to-surface missiles were stored, approximately 2,200 kilometers (1,400 miles) from Israel. Approximately 60 missiles have been launched at Israel from this command center.

In parallel, missile launchers were also struck in Isfahan, Bushehr, and Ahvaz. Strikes were also conducted on military sites involved in the production of aerial defense batteries, the ‘Third Brigade’ UAV command center, and a UAV storage facility near the command center.

More than 400 suicide drones launched at Israel from Iran have been intercepted by the IAF and Israeli Navy since the start of Operation Rising Lion.

“To remove a threat of such magnitude, against such an enemy, we must be ready for a prolonged campaign,” IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir caution at last Friday’s briefing.

“The IDF is prepared. Day by day, our freedom to operate is expanding and the enemy’s is narrowing,” Zamir said but added, “The campaign is not over.

“Although we have made significant achievements, difficult days still lie ahead. We must remain alert and united until the mission is complete.”
