Israelis all over the country were woken up just before 3AM to a nationwide alert.

The IDF preemptively attacked Iran following reports that Iran would soon be capable of making multiple nuclear bombs. There are reports that the Mossad was also involved in the attack.

According to unconfirmed reports, Israel assassinated the Iranian Chief of Staff in Tehran and hit 2 nuclear facilities in Fordow and Natanz and the heavy water facility in Arak. There are additional unconfirmed reports that Israel eliminated Iran’s entire General Staff and chief nuclear scientists. Due to the significant depth underground of the Fordow nuclear facility, it may not have been attacked.

Iran TV says the Commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami has been eliminated.

The IDF spokesperson says Israel hit dozens of Iranian military and nuclear sites in an opening attack. There are reports of a second wave and third attacking Iran. Channel 14 reports that Israel hit Iran’s ballistic missile sites.

A security official told IDF radio, what Israel did to Hezbollah in 10 days, Israel did to Iran in 10 minutes.

Israeli have been alerted to stay near bomb shelters in anticipation of an Iranian response. Civilian airplanes are being flown out of Israel to other locations

All schools have been cancelled for Friday and public gatherings have been cancelled. In addition, if warned to go into bomb shelters, the new instructions are to stay there until further notice, not for just 10 minutes.

The operation has been named “Am KaLavi” – Operation Rising Lion.
