The IDF examines a Hezbollah terror tunnel. Dec. 11, 2018

The IDF announced on Tuesday afternoon that a third Hezbollah terror tunnel has been found crossing over from Lebanon into Israel.

Like with the previous terror tunnels that have been found on the Northern border, this one has also been booby-trapped by the IDF.

The IDF says this tunnel no longer presents a threat to Israeli civilians.

In Lebanon they are claiming that the tunnel opened up near Kibbutz Yiftach.

The IDF is in the midst of a large-scale operation to find and destroy all of Hezbollah’s terror tunnels crossing into Israel. In the next war, Hezbollah was planning on sending massive numbers of terrorists into Israeli communities to slaughter the civilians.

Earlier today, UNIFIL’s mission head spoke with Lebanese President Michal Aoun and House Speaker Nabih Berri and confirmed that two tunnels had been found leading into Israel from Lebanon.
