Former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked announced Sunday night at an event hall in Kfar Maccabiah that she will lead the New Right party.

The announcement had been anticipated for some time by political pundits.

Former Education and Diaspora Minister Naftali Bennett announced Sunday night at a party meeting that Shaked would lead a joint ticket with the United Right party in the upcoming September 17 elections.
