Border Guard officers on Saturday evening prevented a stabbing attempt at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, Israel Radio reported.
An Arab youth, 20, a resident of Hebron, arrived at one of the checkpoints near the cave and raised the suspicion of the officers. They asked him to remove his overcoat and they spotted a knifes ticking from his pants’ pocket.

The Border Guard officers then pointed their weapons at the suspect and arrested him without the use of force.
