Jon Stewart's The Daily Show wanted Josh Nass (right) to talk about Obamacare, but instead, Nass challenged Jon Stewart to a debate about Israel. Nothing doing.

So Nass replied to Stewart’s producer on Friday, August 1, and issued the challenge. When Nass hadn’t heard anything by late Sunday evening, he decided to reach out again.

But apparently Stewart isn’t interested in a real debate about Israel and Gaza, he just wants to sit on his throne and take potshots at those who disagree with him. And despite being idolized as a funny man, somehow he has taken it upon himself to espouse his lopsided view on national television, replete with a total lack of information regarding the situation, what Israel is dealing with, what Hamas is about and seeks to achieve. Stewart also has absolutely no understanding of military conflicts, the law of war or any other pertinent guidelines.

And that is why he would have no interest in a real debate about Israel and Gaza. He just wants to continue acting as if he does know, and taking advantage of his gullible audience which apparently assumes anyone funny enough to have their own hit comedy show for nearly 15 years must really know what he’s talking about.

Stewart even did a small segment purportedly attempting to show how, no matter what he says, either the pro-Israel nutjobs or the pro-Hamas nutjobs will attack him:

But maybe we judged Stewart too quickly. Maybe the challenge Nass posed will be accepted. He’s still waiting…
