The Naval Museum at the Washington Navy Yard was an interesting place for the vey young to enjoy a few hours of climbing onto the actual weapons used by our Navy. The Navy yard was an open to the public in those innocent times. I would take our two young sons for visits on  Sunday afternoons. The world is a different place these days.
