They point out that Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day, the Day of Remembrance for the Fallen Soldiers of Israel and Victims of Terrorism, Israel Independence Day and Jerusalem Day all are marked during the "counting of the Omer" -- the 50 days between Passover and Shavuot (Pentecost).
