The Israeli Navy shows off its newest naval vessel designated: Manta. The Manta is designed for amphibious landing of ground troops via the sea.
The drill took place on the beach in the northern Israeli town of Atlit, on May 18, 2016.

Looks like my LCM that landed on many beaches in WW11. They were powered by twin Chyrsler marine engines. (They landed – I didn't). Held 50 soldiers. Were 50ft long.
