A Palestinian delegation headed by Mahmoud Abbas delivered to the International Criminal Court in the Hague documents regarding what the Palestinians refer to as “Israel’s crimes,” including accusations of ethnic cleansing, collective punishment and destruction of homes. Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Almalki said the documents include material on the Palestinians that Israel “executed,” in his words, including photos and videos.

Meanwhile, as the delegation was having its say in the Netherlands, two Jews were injured on Friday, one of them a yeshiva student, after an Arab terrorist tried to kill them with a knife in the train station near Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem. The terrorist was shot by security forces. Paramedic teams provided medical care and transported the injured man to Shaare Zedek hospital with a stab wound to his upper body.

The terrorist is in stable condition. A widely circulated Palestinian video shows only the part where the jeep finally catches up with the youth. An Israeli version, also available online, shows the complete event. The IDF soldiers who left the jeep were immediately rushed by Red Crescent personnel and local Arabs, who quickly posed a clear threat to their lives, as a debate ensued over the arrest of the youth. The soldiers fired in the air to disperse the threatening crowd.

On Saturday, an Arab terrorist was shot dead after an attempt to attack an Israeli soldier at a military checkpoint north of Jenin. According to an IDF spokesperson, he attempted to stab the soldier at the crossing when forces responded to the imminent danger and shot the perpetrator. There were no injuries to Israelis.

On Saturday night, Arabs spilled oil on the road near Beitar in Gush Etzion, hoping to cause an accident. It’s not the first time they’ve used this tactic near Beitar.
