Education Minister Naftali Bennett has ordered all Israeli academic institutions to disband student cells involved in the Islamic Movement, which the government last week declared to be illegal.

He wrote institutions of higher learning on Friday:

There will be no terror on campus. We have taken the Islamic Movement out of the realm of legality, and now it is clear that there is no place for it in academic institutions in Israel.

I expect all academic leaders to take responsibility, to understand the dangers involved and to cooperate with the government.
