EVD (Ebola virus disease) symptoms include high fever, bleeding and central nervous system damage. The disease is spread through contact with bodily fluids such as blood, sweat or saliva.
Incubation period for EVD is from two to 21 days.

In past outbreaks, the disease has been fatal to 90 percent of those who became ill, but that has not been the case this time around. So far, only 70 percent of those who contract the virus have died.
