Terror tunnel found in Gaza

Once again, the issue of terrorist tunnels facilitating attacks on Israel has become a focal point of Operation Protective Edge.

IDF soldiers killed five terrorists who attempted to infiltrate from Gaza Monday evening near the community of Nahal Oz the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council district, saving hundreds of lives.

Troops spotted the terrorists heading for a civilian area and began firing. The exchange ended with four terrorists dead, and IDF soldiers searching for any others who may have escaped during the fight.

Roads in and out of the area have been sealed off and security forces have thrown a dragnet around the area to make sure there is no possibility any terrorist can infiltrate and move farther north.
