Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron

Israel has refused to let a UNESCO investigatory team make a field trip to Hebron, according to a report in the Jerusalem Post.

The Palestinian Authority is trying to get UNESCO to list the Tomb of the Jewish people’s Patriarchs (Ma’arat HaMachpelah) and the city of Hebron as “Palestinian” heritage sites, and endangered by Israel.

Israel has refused to grant the team visa permits to enter Israel.
