Chadian President Idriss Deby and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu leaves Sunday for a visit to the central African nation of Chad.

It’s the first-ever visit by an Israeli prime minister to the Muslim-majority country.

Netanyahu’s trip follows the recent visit to Jerusalem by Chadian President Idriss Deby in November 2018.
