The IDF Spokesperson’s Office on Sunday morning released pictures of the weapons that were captured on Friday on the bodies of two terrorists who opened fire at an IDF force near the fence in the northern Gaza Strip, during the Hamas organized “march of return.” The IDF responded with tank and aircraft fire that killed the terrorists. In addition, IDF tanks attacked three Hamas positions.

The IDF clarified that a joint examination with the Shabak showed that at least ten of those killed Friday were involved in terrorism, including members of Hamas who were known to participate in digging terror tunnels and were active in the global jihad.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Office posted on its Facebook page in Arabic a message addressed to Hamas: “You said that the processions would be peaceful. Hamas Terror Organization – who are you trying to fool? You are sending armed men to the fence in order to endanger the lives of women and children.”

According to a report of the PA health ministry, 16 were killed and 1416 injured in Friday’s clashes at the border fence.

On Sunday morning, another Gaza Arab tried to cross the border fence in the Kissufim area and was detained by security forces and transferred for interrogation.
