8:30 AM IDF reports that the rocket alert was a false alarm.

8:19 AM – Rocket Alert for Gaza Border Communities.

Residents have 15 seconds to get into a bomb shelter.

Israel is currently negotiating a ceasefire with Hamas, and Islamic Jihad is threatening to blow it (and Israelis) up.

Hamas has also been upping the ante and is reported to be demanding additional Israeli concessions for temporary quiet, including a prisoner exchange.
