The Reut Rehabilitation Hospital in Tel Aviv signed an agreement on collaboration with the China Rehabilitation Research Center (CRRC), the largest such facility in China.

The signing ceremony recently took place as part of the visit of the hospital’s director, Dr. Dov Albukerk, at an international conference in Beijing initiated by the Chinese hospital.

Albukerk’s lecture focused on presenting Reut Hospital’s activities and leading rehabilitation medicine in the face of challenges that exist in Israel.

This is the first type of agreement for Reut Hospital signed with a prestigious and leading medical institution in China. The collaboration will include training, seminars and professional learning by Chinese staff on rehabilitative medicine in Israel and the multi-professional care provided at Reut Hospital.

This agreement is another achievement in the hospital’s recent activity to promote collaborations with hospitals across China, seeking to develop and expand the current rehabilitation services in China through training, assimilating advanced technologies and advancing research.

As part of this, Reut joined the Sino-Israel Hospital Alliance last June. Earlier this year, Albukerk was also invited to lecture in Jǐnán, China, at a national summit initiated by the Chinese Ministry of Health on China’s strategy for addressing the global challenge of population aging.
