State-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported late Thursday night “a UAV was successfully intercepted over the town of Aqraba south of Damascus.”

Additional Arab media were more specific, reporting Syria had “shot down an Israeli drone flying above the town of Aqraba in the southern suburbs of Damascus during alleged Israeli airstrikes on Iranian targets.”
