Perhaps for the coming of the Messiah. As explained in Shemot Rabbah 25:12 and Yerushalmi Taanit 1:10: “The Scion of David will come if the Jews all keep one Shabbat because the Sabbath is equivalent to all the mitzvot.”

Not a bad thought to keep in mind as we prepare for Shabbat this week – and every week.
