The following is an interview of Zachary Iscol that was conducted as part of an ongoing series of interviews of candidates running for NYC Comptroller.

Zachary Iscol, is a candidate for the office of New York City Comptroller. He is a combat decorated Unites States Marine who served in Iraq for 6 years. Upon his return he founded a private nonprofit organization Headstrong Project to assist veterans and their families with free mental health care in more than 25 cities. Most recently, Zach served as a Deputy Director as the temporary field hospital at the Javits Center in the spring of 2020.
