Be'er Sheva

The letter sent by the UN legal department demanding immunity for a UNDP employee who moonlighted as Hamas agent, referred to the city where said employee had been indicted by its Arab name, Ber Asaabeaa. The city’s biblical name, Be’er Sheva, where the patriarchs and matriarchs of the Jewish nation dwelled, is often spelled Beer Sheba, the English bible version, but never Ber Asaabeaa.

This means the initiative to claim UN immunity for a terrorist probably came from an Arab UN employee, and that the international organization is following the example of another UN agency, UNESCO, in endeavoring to wipe out any elements of Jewish identity from Israel, replacing them by the tags left by the country’s former Arab occupiers.
