Police Lock Arab Rioters inside Al Aqsa Mosque

Wednesday, September 24th, 2014

Jerusalem police locked dozens of masked Arab rioters inside the Al Aqsa mosque on the Temple Mount Wednesday morning after they attacked Jewish visitors and police with firecrackers, bottles and large blocks.

Several arrests are expected, but the first person to be detained was a Jew who was suspected of “disrupting the public order” by praying on the Temple Mount.

The Arabs were well-prepared to violently attack police, and their “green light” was a visit by the Mughrabi (Rambam) Gate by Housing Minister Uri Ariel of the Jewish Home party. He vowed that the Third Temple will be built.

The rioters immediately attacked at the same time that Public Interior Minister Yitzchak Aharonovitch was visiting the holy site. He bragged on Wednesday how the number of rock-throwing attacks has declined by one-third and that firebombing is almost non-existent. Aharonovitch praised police, as if they were responsible for the decline, which more likely can be attributed to the end, for the time being, of the war against terror in Gaza.

Four police officers were treated for wounds suffered on the Temple Mount. Faced with a massive barrage of blocks being thrown in their faces and firecrackers hurled at them, policemen managed to direct rioters inside the Al Qaeda Aqsa mosque before chaining it for several hours

Visits to the Temple Mount by Jews and foreigners were banned during the riots.

Rock-throwing continued in Jewish area in eastern Jerusalem, and police arrested a non-year-old Arab for hurling rocks at Jews. The boy was turned over to his parents, for whatever that is worth, but can you imagine what police would do to a nine-year-old boy and his parents if he were caught throwing rocks at Arabs? Don’t try, because you don’t want to start Rosh HaShanah that way.

Neglecting Terror Setting Up Eastern Jerusalem Jews for Expulsion

Sunday, September 21st, 2014

Jerusalem Arabs attacked a school bus with large rocks and bottles in the Maaleh Zeitim neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem Sunday morning.

No one was injured although the attackers managed to smash the windshield of the bus, which was taking the children to their school in Jerusalem,

Border Police rushed to the scene, but – surprise but no surprise – no suspects were found.

Jews living in eastern Jerusalem have frequently complained of lack of police protection and of a soft-glove approach by courts when anyone is arrested and indicted.

Dozens of Jewish motorists and passengers have been ambushed several times in eastern Jerusalem the past several years, as reported here last week, here and here last month, and here in July.

Allowing Arab terrorists to rule the roads in Gush Katif in 2000-2005 was one of the factors that incited public opinion to favor expelling 9,000 Jews from 19 communities in Gaza in the summer of 2005.

Establishment media constantly claimed that the IDF could not protect their safety and that trying to do so cost the lives of soldiers as well as civilians.

The same cockeyed logic was behind the withdrawal of the IDF from the security zone in southern Lebanon in 2000, when Ehud Barak was prime minister.

Six years later, after Hezbollah exploited the total vacuum of intelligence and Israeli soldiers on the ground, it killed 121 IDF soldiers and 43 civilians in the Second Lebanon War.

More than 400 civilians were hospitalized in massive Hezbollah rocket and missile attacks, and nearly 900 suffered trauma. Approximately 6,000 homes sustained damage while 1 million residents spent much of their time in bomb shelters.

Following the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif, hams bombarded Israel from the Negev to the Galilee with thousands of missiles and rockets, and Israel still has not achieved a long-term cease-fire agreement.

Constant attacks on Jews in eastern Jerusalem, with the help of Israel and foreign establishment media, could set up another scenario for the repeatedly failed strategy of offering “peace” by telling Jews the cannot live where they want in Jerusalem.

Private TV Crew Catches Arab Rock-Throwers in the Act [video]

Friday, September 12th, 2014

A video crew for a security advising company caught Palestinian Authority Arab rock-throwers on film, leading to their arrest by the IDF Thursday.

Rock-throwing terrorists have been a deadly menace to Israeli drivers in Judea and Samaria, and sometimes beyond, for years because of the easy availability of weapons – rocks – and ridiculous IDF restrictions that forbid soldiers to shoot the “rock terrorists” unless there is a direct threat on their lives.

The aim of the rock-throwers is to murder, either by a direct hit on drivers and passengers or by causing a fatal crash, but that is not enough for the IDF top brass to allow troops to pull the trigger. Instead they shoot in the air and then hope they can catch up with the attackers.

The film crew that was on Highway 60, the major north-south artery in Judea and Samaria, caught two youth on film as they hurled rocks at passing cars near Ofra, north of Jerusalem.

The crew reported the incident to the IDF, and the footage helped soldiers apprehend the culprits.

Arab Rock Throwing Attacks Wounds 3-Year-Old Girl

Monday, September 1st, 2014

Palestinian Authority terrorists wounded a three-year-old girl and a bus driver in two separate rock throwing and firebombing attacks on Monday.

Both victims suffered light injuries and were treated on the spot, without need for hospitalization.

The girl was riding a bus in northern Jerusalem when the attackers smashed a glass window on the bus. She was treated at the scene for cuts from the shattered glass.

Two firebombs were broke the windshield on a bus in northern Samaria.

Police are looking for the suspects, and Jewish motorists and passengers in Judea and Samaria remain sitting ducks for terrorists, encouraged by a lax security and court system.

Rock-Throwing Terrorist Hits Jewish Driver in the Head, Car Overturns

Sunday, August 24th, 2014

A resident of the southern Hevron Hills is in serious condition from injuries to the skull after an Arab rock-throwing terrorist hit him in the head shortly after midnight Saturday, forcing his car to overturn.

The victim’s wife and baby, who were traveling in the car on their way home, were not hurt.

The terrorist struck between Al Aroob and Carmei Tzur, immediately south of Gush Etzion and one of the favorite launching areas for Arab attacks on Jewish drivers. The IDF routinely stations jeeps in the area, but restraints on dealing with rock-throwers have hampered deterrence,

The victim was rushed to Hadassah Hospital and is undergoing surgery Sunday morning for internal bleeding and skull fractures.

Prayers are being said for the recovery of Yedayah ben Orna.

Arab Rock Throwing on Temple Mount and Jerusalem

Tuesday, August 19th, 2014

Tuesday – Arab rioters are desecrating the Temple Mount once again with violence.

One policeman was lightly injured by Arab stone throwers on the Temple Mount. He received medical treatment on site.

Rocks were also thrown near Shaar Shechem (Damascus Gate), damaging windows on a passing bus.

No injuries reported, and no arrests reported either.

The Temple Mount is the Jewish people’s holiest site.

Arab Rock-Throwers Damage Israeli Car near Beit El

Monday, March 31st, 2014

Palestinian Authority rock-throwing terrorists struck again Monday afternoon on Highway 60

Earlier in the day, Arabs on the southern section of Highway 60 between Gush Etzion and Kiryat-Arba-Hevron, hurled rocks at soldiers on patrol. No one was injured.

Israeli soldiers continue to be under orders not to fire at terrorists who use rocks and boulders to smash cars and try to cause drivers to lose control.
