The Tel Aviv-Yafo municipality has installed the country’s first LED light strips at a pedestrian crossing to alert the texting public of approaching danger. Brightly glowing strips of LEDs connected to existing traffic lights have been installed at the edge of the pavement, and the lights change their color at the same time as their eye-level counterparts.
