A young couple from Beer Sheva whose wedding night coincided with Tuesday’s Islamic Jihad rocket attacks, told Israeli TV that they decided not to surrender to the circumstances and held a limited version of the event in a bomb shelter.
They didn’t realize that among the viewers at home was none other than Netta Barzilai, winner of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with her mesmerizing song Toy.

Netta did not hesitate and decided to appear at the event, telling the stunned couple and their guests: “I saw you on TV and figured it would be really special here – so I just got up from the couch and drove over.”
