Terrorist's knife -- straight from the kitchen.

An armed Arab woman was arrested at the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem on Sunday afternoon after a routine search of her belongings turned up a knife.

Israeli Border Police officers arrested the 47-year-old woman, who is a resident of al-Eizariya, in Samaria. She was transferred to security personnel for questioning.

It is not unusual for Arab women and youths of both sexes to find ways to get themselves arrested by Israeli authorities on charges of terrorism in order to win financial compensation from the Palestinian Authority government. Some of the “suspects” also make an effort to get arrested by Israeli officials simply in order to escape their living conditions in the Palestinian Authority.
