Rabbi Meir Soloveitchik, zt’l, was dean of Brisk Yeshiva in Zichron Moshe.

The revered dean of the Brisk Yeshiva in Zichron Moshe, Rabbi Meir Soloveitchik, zt’l, (Meir ben Hendel) was laid to rest in Jerusalem on Sunday after leaving this world on Shabbos Kodesh.

Rabbi Soloveitchik, zt’l, was 87 years old at the time of his passing, which followed a serious stroke several weeks prior. He was the son of the renowned Brisker Rav.

Rabbi Soloveitchik, zt’l was laid to rest Sunday at the Har HaMenuchot cemetery. “This is a great loss for the People of Israel,” said a mourner.
