Would-be infiltrator caught in the field outside Itamar, in Samaria

IDF forces spotted two suspected terrorists attempting to infiltrate the Jewish community of Itamar in the area of the Samaria Regional Brigade on Sunday night.

One of the suspects was tracked down and caught near the back entrance to Itamar, according to local sources. He was carrying a pair of binoculars and wearing camouflage fatigues.

IDF personnel are continuing to search for the second suspect, who remains at large, and escaped towards Beit Furiq.

Residents in Itamar were warned to remain in the community and not to go out into the hills beyond while security personnel continue to hunt for the terrorist.
