The Israel Defense Forces seized more than two million shekels’ (NIS 2,156,089) in terrorist funds ($576,976) during military raids in Palestinian Authority-controlled areas of Judea and Samaria from January 1 to December 31, 2018.
Some of the funds were intended to be used in the monthly payment bestowed on terrorists and their families as a reward for killing and/or attempting to kill Israelis.
During this past year, Palestinian Authority terrorists carried out 893 firebombing attacks, 33 shooting attacks and 17 stabbing attacks against Israelis – both Jews and Arabs.
A total of 16 Israeli citizens were murdered by Palestinian Authority terrorists in Judea and Samaria in 2018.
Hundreds of millions of dollars are spent each year by the Palestinian Authority government in Ramallah on its “pay to slay” policy.
