Hezbollah on Monday morning reported it had shot down an Israeli drone as it crossed the border with Lebanon in the Ramyeh village area in southern Lebanon. The IDF confirmed that an Israeli drone was shot down and stressed that there was no fear of information being exposed.

Hezbollah issued a statement saying its fighters “confronted with necessary weapons an Israeli drone” as it entered southern Lebanon. The drone is now in the hands of Hezbollah.

In possibly related news, on Sunday, a Hezbollah official confirmed that Ali Hatoum, a former Hezbollah official, was found dead in his apartment in Beirut’s southern suburbs, the state-run Lebanese news agency said on Sunday.
