Sources in Iran report that a synagogue in the city of Shiraz was broken into, desecrated and robbed. Those coming to pray discovered the destruction.

Torah scrolls were ripped apart and thrown into the bathroom at the site. The synagogue’s prayer books (siddurim) were also torn up and tossed around the area of the bathroom as well.
