Arab terrorists hurled a firebomb at an Israeli public bus Sunday night as it traveled near the Jewish community of Ma’ale Amos in eastern Gush Etzion.
Miraculously no one was physically injured in the attack. There was no word on the condition of the bus.
Earlier in the evening and on the western side of Gush Etzion, Arab terrorists hurled a paint-filled bottle at an Israeli motorists traveling along Highway 60 past the Arab village of Beit Omar.
The village is located between the Gush Etzion junction and Hebron, just a few minutes south of the Arab town of El Aroub. The attack took place early Sunday evening.
No physical injuries were reported in the attack but the status of the vehicle was not clear.
Paint bottle attacks are becoming more common as terrorists become more inventive in their attempts to kill Israelis on the roads.
Bottles filled with paint shatter on impact when they hit a passing vehicle, spreading a thick coat of colorful paint on the windows of any moving vehicle. They immediately blind the driver, causing the vehicle to slow down at the very least, if not to crash.Hana Levi Julian
