An Israeli citizen died in Thailand Friday after hitting his head when he jumped from a high cliff into a waterfall in the northern village of Masar.

Hussein Sabih, 28, sustained a severe head injury in the jump. He was treated by paramedics but they were unable to save him.

Sabih, who was in Koh Samui at the time, was traveling with friends for a month-long trip to Thailand.
