A pipe bomb was thrown at the parking lot in the compound at Rachel’s Tomb, the grave site of the Biblical matriarch. The bomb was thrown from the direction of the security checkpoint, towards A’aida.

No one was physically injured but there was some minor damage caused by the bombing.
Security forces launched a search for the attacker.
