An Arab terrorist attempted to stab IDF soldiers at the Bitot Junction south of Shechem.

The would-be attacker charged at the forces armed with a knife, the IDF spokesperson’s unit said in a statement, but was quickly stopped in his tracks.

“The soldiers fired warning shots in the air, preventing the attack,” according to an IDF spokesperson.

In fact, the would-be attacker turned tail and ran. He did manage to escape, however.

“Forces are now conducting searches in the area for the assailant who fled the scene.”

  1. The Israeli people are under siege.Attack after attack on a daily basis from senseless terrorists choking with hatred yet the IDF soldiers have the sense to show restraint and fire in the air at huge risk to their own lives.I salute them indeed for bravery because they are dealing here with people devoid of any basic human decency.Bravo, brave soldiers!
