Terrorist knife (illustrative)

An attack by a female Arab terrorist was foiled at a checkpoint north of Jerusalem on Monday afternoon a few minutes after 2 pm.

The terrorist tried to stab a group of Border Guard Police officers at the Ras Bidu checkpoint, near the Jewish community of Giv’on HaHadasha.

Officers who were standing nearby shot the attacker before she was able to hurt anyone.

The terrorist has been killed.
