The Israeli Heron TP (Eitan) UAV is designed to fly at high altitude on missions spanning over several days.

Germany’s Ministry of Defense is likely to sign a nine-year, one billion euro deal with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Airbus to lease five Heron TP drones (UAVs) in the coming weeks, according to the Globes business news service.

German Social Democratic Party parliament member Fritz Felgentreau, responsible for defense affairs, said, “Germany needs these Israeli UAVs.”
