IAF hits in Iranian missile facility in Syria.

Israeli National Security Adviser Meir Ben Shabbat on Monday meets with his American counterpart, National Security Adviser John Bolton. The two will focus on Iranian activity in the region, as well as the increasing fear in the US regarding the Chinese influence on Israeli infrastructure issues.

The Israeli delegation headed by Ben Shabbat includes senior officials from the defense and foreign ministries, as well as the IDF, Mossad and additional agencies.

Bolton tweeted early Monday morning: “Looking forward to meeting with Israeli National Security Advisor Meir Ben-Shabbat tomorrow. We have much to discuss, including our shared commitment to countering Iranian malign activity & other destabilizing actors in the Middle East & around the world.”

On Sunday, the ISI intelligence company published satellite photos from the site of the Friday night attack in Syria attributed to Israel, which indicate that central buildings were destroyed in a military base in the city of Misyaf in northwestern. According to reports, this is the location of Iran’s medium-range missile development center inside Syria.

Kan, Israel’s Public Broadcasting Corporation, cites ISI officials who say that if the bombed site was indeed a missile factory, it was related to the production of a variety of systems, or to upgrade the accuracy of existing missiles.

ISI estimates that the factory did not manufacture rocket engines or warheads, and that the location of the plant, which looked like a regular army camp, was chosen to conceal the real activity taking place there.
