The newly renovated Inbal hotel in Jerusalem welcomed the 70th Secretary of State, Mr. Mike Pompeo, last week during his last minute visit to Israel, following an emergency meeting with Turkey’s president Erdogan.

The Inbal Hotel is defined as “a secure hotel”, of which there are only 4 such hotels in Jerusalem. While political dignitaries usually choose to stay at the iconic King David, there seems to be a shift in choice of late to super luxurious boutique hotels in the capital.

Pompeo was hosted for one night, alongside a very large entourage that accommodated a large number of personnel. The hotel was full with guests from North America who were very pleased with the unexpected Sukkot holiday guest they received.

Mr. Pompeo commented on the special holiday atmosphere in the hotel and was very impressed with the design of the hotel’s sukkahs and the holiday decor.

Other famous names that have flocked to The Inbal hotel over recent months include; Rosanne Barr, Polish Director and filmaker, Pawel Pawlikowski, Dr. Ruth, Italian actress and director Kim Rossi, fashion designer Veronique Hadjibay and more.
