In Gaza and in Ramallah, Palestinian Authority Arabs celebrate the murder of Israelis by playing music and distributing sweets to strangers in the street.

It’s a scene that horrifies that average person, and one that would earn worldwide condemnation if Jews were ever to behave the same way, were the tables turned.

But it seems that local Arab youths have found a way to take the macabre a step further in their quest for the grotesque.

Palestinian Authority Arab youths were seen this weekend taking “selfies” at the site of a terrorist attack that targeted Israelis.

The overturned car which had struck three IDF soldiers in a vehicle terror attack – gravely wounding two of them – was moved to the side of the road in order not to block traffic near the Samaria town of Shiloh last Thursday.

The Arab terrorist who drove the vehicle was also severely wounded after being shot.

Eyewitnesses in the area told Israel’s Channel 20 television they saw dozens of curious local Arabs flocking to the site to pose for selfies.

“Dozens of Palestinians passed right next to us,” a Jewish driver told the television station, adding that she was shocked to see them rejoicing at the scene. “They began to take out their cell phones and snap photos,” she said.

“They were smiling and proud, and happy,” she went on. “They stood right there, next to the [terrorist’s] car, and snapped selfies of themselves… We didn’t say anything to them but one of the IDF officers there warned them to move back.

“They didn’t go far enough, though, and they kept on taking pictures – you could just see the happiness in their eyes,” she related.

“It was as if I had gone to the house [of the Palestinian Arab victims] in Duma, and were to snap a photo and send it to my friends.”

The firebombing attack in the center of the Arab village of Duma led to the deaths of a father and 18-month-old baby, and severely wounded a mother and four-year-old boy. Unidentified Jewish extremists are suspected of carrying out that attack but the perpetrators have not yet been identified. A gag order has been clamped on the investigation in the case.

No Jews have been spotted taking selfies at the scene of that horrific attack, nor have any Israelis been seen celebrating the injuries or deaths. Numerous prayer rallies, demonstrations and protests have been held by various Israeli groups to express outrage, sadness, solidarity and regret over the attack.

The response, in short, is 180 degrees different from anything expressed by Palestinian Authority Arabs or their leadership, ever, in the wake of any terror attack on an Israeli Jew.
