Israel Police are cracking down on people suspected of participating in road terror and other attacks on civilians and security personnel.

Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, two Arab residents were arrested in Abu Dis, near Jerusalem, in connection with an earlier attack on police officers and security personnel.

The two were detained for questioning in Ma’ale Adumim. They are suspected of participating in a recent attack on police, hurling rocks and firebombs (Molotov cocktails) at security forces.

In a related incident, passengers in a private car came under attack Wednesday morning as Arabs pelted the vehicle with stones near Jerusalem’s District Court.

No one in the vehicle was physically injured although they were traumatized, and the vehicle was damaged.
