For the benefit of our readers who did not follow the news last week, on Thursday night the IAF conducted 100 retaliatory attacks against Hamas military posts across the Gaza Strip, after a Hamas rocket maintenance crew mistakenly launched two rockets at the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Clearly, Hamas had been warned about the retaliation, because they had evacuated all those targets well ahead of the attacks, except for two Arabs who were injured – possibly the same maintenance crew that started the whole thing…

Regardless of all of the above, on Sunday morning the IDF Spokesperson’s office released images showing the extent of the damage inflicted by those 100 sorties. Now, imagine if the retaliations had come immediately upon the launch with Hamas terrorists caught by surprise – how many more Hamas operatives would have met their maker Thursday night.
