American media and officials are trying hard to convince everyone that the madman who beheaded a woman in Oklahoma last week was just another weird murderer and had not connection with Islamic terror although he attended a local mosque where preachers often incited against Israel.
The murder suspect was identified as Alton Nolen, who was shot and wounded before he could attack other people after he went berserk at a company where he had worked before being fired.
MSNBC headlined “No evidence Oklahoma beheading linked to terrorism, police say.”
The FBI has second thoughts and now is investigating if Nolen’s connections to Islam were linked to the murder.
Radical Islam cannot be indicted by guilt through association, but the fact is that Nolen attended the Masjid An-Nasr mosque in Oklahoma City, where preachers often spewed hate against Israel, including the usual accusation that the Zionists are trying to dig under the Al Aqsa mosque on the Temple Mount in order to cause it to collapse.
American Muslims immediately distanced Islam from the beheading, the cherished custom of the ISIS terrorist group.
Nolen shouted Islamic phrase while attacking, according to an Oklahoma television station.
A classmate of Nolen told a local newspaper that Nolen told his co-workers at Vaughn Foods that women should be stones for violations of Islamic law.
His remark prompted an argument, and the company fired Nolen, who returned several days later to carry out an act of revenge by beheading Colleen Hufford.
The Islamic Council of Oklahoma rushed to state that Nolen was “not known to any of the leadership in Oklahoma mosques,” but Facebook posts show him praying at the Islamic Mosque” in Oklahoma City, where Muslim imams have preached against Israel.
Nolen also posted that Americans are “wicked” and that perhaps the State of Liberty “is going into flames.”
There is no direct indication that Muslim preachers incited Nolen to behead his victim, and the debate over whether the murder was linked to terror is secondary to the fact that the barbaric murder was carried out on American soil.
Muslim leaders undoubtedly are disgusted over the beheading, but there is no getting around the influence of ISIS on thousands of frustrated, ignorant, neurotic, insane, or plain idiots around the world looking for a barbaric fantasy come true.
Saad Mohammed, director of Islamic information at the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City that runs the Masjid An-Nasr mosque, told The Wall Street Journal that Nolen was usually quiet and kept to himself.”
Nolen was described as “a little odd,” the understatement of the year.
He has a prison record for assault and battery and for drug possession.
He also has tattoos, one referring to Jesus and another in Arabic that means “peace be with you.”
