PA Arrests Man After Son Curses 9-Year-Old Wife of Mohammed [video]

Saturday, May 7th, 2016

Mirroring ISIS in Syria, the Palestinian Authority arrested an Arab resident of Ramallah after he posted a video onto Facebook of his son cursing one of the wives of Muhammad, according to a report in Al-Watan.

The man said he posted it because he was converting from Sunni Islam to Shiite Islam.

In the video, the boy, encouraged by his father, curses Aisha, Muhammad’s 9-year-old third wife whose father, Abu Bakr, was the first Sunni Caliph. The Shiite’s claim Ali was meant to be the Caliph. Aisha is connected to the Hadith’s which are central to the Sunni version of Islam.

The boy’s father should consider himself lucky that the Palestinian Authority, unlike ISIS, will probably only torture and execute him and not his child – though one can never be sure when it comes to those wacky Palestinian Authority Islamists.

German Police Chief: Muslim Violence Shows Christian Refugees Must Be Housed Separately

Thursday, October 1st, 2015

(JNi.media) Jörg Radek, deputy head of Germany’s police union, said Christian and Muslim migrants should be lodged separately, following the increasing numbers of attacks on Christians by Muslims in refugee centers. And according to The Independent, a policy of segregation has already been implemented in the German state of Thuringia after Christian migrants in asylum centers were attacked by Sunnis attempting to impose Sharia law.

Rainer Wendt, another German police union official, said violence between groups of illegal migrants in German hostels is common. “We‘ve been seeing this violence for weeks and even months,” Wendt reported. “Groups join forces based on ethnicity, religion or clan structures and attack each other with knives and even weapons they have made themselves.” He explained that “Sunnis fight Shiites, there are Salafists of varying kinds… Women are being forced to wear veils. Men are forced to pray. Islamists want to impose their values.”

International Society for Human Rights official Max Klingberg complained that many migrants arriving in Germany are radical Islamists. “Among the new arrivals is not a small amount of religious intensity, it is at least at the level of the Muslim Brotherhood,” he said.

“I think housing separated according to religion makes perfect sense,” Radek told Die Welt. German police reported that 14 people were injured in two separate clashes that erupted between refugees last Sunday at a temporary migrant shelter in Kassel-Calden in northern Germany. On Thursday evening the week before, a fight broke out among some 200 Syrian and Afghan refugees wielding table legs and slats at a shelter in Leipzig. “They attacked each other with clubs and threw things at each other,” a police spokesman reported, according to the Independent.

“The police have reached their absolute breaking point,” Radek stated, explaining: “Our officials are increasingly being called to confrontations in refugee homes. When there are 4,000 people in a home which only actually has places for 750, this confinement then leads to aggression where even a tiny thing like the corridor to the toilet can lead to violence.”

According to bt2.net, the European establishment media is largely ignoring ethnic violence as illegal immigrants stream into the West. The most recent incident took place this week in a Danish refugee center near Copenhagen where a “a stateless Palestinian” in a refugee center stabbed a police officer.

Germany is expected to get about one million asylum applications this year. The German government has set aside $6.75 billion to fund accommodation, and designated an extra 3,000 police to cope with this influx. But with training for police taking around three years, according to The Independent, Germany’s 16 federal states rely largely on private security firms to maintain the peace.

Persian Gulf Nations Form Regional Navy, Police Force

Wednesday, December 10th, 2014

The six-member Gulf Cooperation Council hasS created a joint naval and police force in response to their mutual concerns over Iran’s growing nuclear prowess and the rise of Sunni Muslim radical groups.

The force was created at a regional conference held in Qatar, according to a report broadcast on Israel public radio.

Six nations from around the Persian Gulf will each send representatives to the regional force, and supplement it with a common fleet.

The new naval force is to be headquartered in Bahrain. A new regional police force is to be administered from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Both are intended to fight terrorism and organized crime, particularly due to Iran’s growing influence in the region, and the rise of Sunni Muslim extremist groups, according to the report.

Attacking ISIS, Obama Will Only Repeat The Disasters Of His Predecessor

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014

This article first appeared in Jewish Business News.

Far from being a fan of ISIS, who represent the very worst in Islamic culture, I nevertheless believe President Obama should leave them alone and not attempt to remove them from the face of the earth, as he has promised a few days ago.

ISIS serves a very important purpose, it is actually a source of stability in the region, and as such should be left to its own devices. Yes, the West must protect its assets in the region, and, yes, care must be taken to bolster innocent bystanders like the Kurds and the kingdom of Jordan against the onslaught of the Islamic ninjas. Other than that, to paraphrase a popular sentiment: don’t just do something, stand there.

Nature abhors a vacuum. Back in the 7th century, as the Roman Empire was losing its oomph in the Middle East, the Arab hordes, led by Muhammad, rushed out of the Arabian peninsula and grabbed all that nice, free property, never to let go of most of it again. This is precisely what ISIS, the new Muslim hordes in the very same region, have been doing.

Thirteen years ago, Barbara Bush’s less gifted son decided to remove the only man in the region who was able, using cruelty, paranoia and a voracious appetite for power, to stop the Iranian Shiite empire from expanding and gaining a hegemony in the region. That wondrous man was Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, and when he fell, he left a vacuum that was quickly filled by Iran and its Shiite allies inside Iraq.

In essence, the United States spent trillions of dollars and countless lives, American and Arab, to give Iran the primacy it so desired in that part of the world. Yes, that was some idiotic move.

And as President Obama decided to cut America’s losses and pull out of the region en mass, he forced the Sunnis to get up and make a move before it was too late. So they did. Taking advantage of the vacuum left by Obama’s America, ISIS has been running through the region like knife through hot butter. And that’s a very good thing.

Because ISIS, despite their obvious religious fanaticism, are realists. They want money and land, which they’ve taken’ and they want a reliable and well equipped army, which they’ve also taken, from America’s Iraqi clients.

But they’ve been staying out of areas where they know they’d get a bloody nose. While attacking women and children wherever they could, ISIS soldiers have kept away from serious confrontations with the IDF and the Jordanian Legion. They’re not interested in fighting for the sake of fighting alone, they’re looking for rewards. So, like I said, that’s a good thing.

The big service ISIS is doing the West right now is checking Iranian power, just as the Sunni rebels inside Syria are keeping the Iranian agent Hezbollah in check, and just as the PLO is keeping Hamas in check, at least to some degree.

It’s a volatile region, where violent, crazed men will always make life terrible for their weaker, more productive, less sociopath neighbors. But now the crazies are balancing one another, like a circle of snakes, each keeping the tail of the next snake in its clenched jaws.

Israel and the West could do worse, by helping any of these brutes. Let them keep each other busy for decades, and let’s wish all of them much success in their bloody endeavors.

Oh, and if you’re a journalist looking to interview these guys – use Skype, for heaven’s sake.

The Ideological War

Thursday, August 7th, 2014

Looking at our recent history and near future, it seems like the wars keeps coming and the condemnation of other nations and their ‘voices of morality’ reliably follow.

Our foes want us dead, and we see no exit.

It seems as though our menu of choices has only three choices. Keep fighting with no hope of any resolution, eliminate our enemies, or have them eliminate us. Any hope for a peace agreement is founded in a false narrative. For our enemies, an ‘acceptable peace’ is our elimination. They are willing to pay a tremendous price in their own peoples’ blood to achieve it.

It is a stark and deeply uncomfortable reality. With each fight the world seems to hate us more and its condemnation seems to gather force.

Our allies appear to abandon us. Stage-by-stage, they walk away. First they abandon us diplomatically, then they deny us arms and then they turn fully against us or simply allow others to do the job they lack the courage to do themselves. Some do it to our faces, but others lack the conviction and courage to so publicly share their desires.

It seems hopeless.

The biblical statement that the nations will look upon us and say, “Only a nation of wisdom and understanding is this great people” seems almost like a joke.

But we are the Jewish people. And through every catastrophe, we seek hope; we dream, forever, of peace.

Peace without extermination.

The question is: how do we get there?

Our reality is that we are the vanguard. The vanguard of an ideological war. Like any ideological war, deaths and guns and bombs and diplomacy and alliances are only the symptoms of conflict. They are not its core.

Our enemies are fighting their own ideological wars. Their solutions are extermination. And we are not their only target. In Syria, Nigeria, Iraq and other places we can see their approach to this war. Guns and bombs and death seem to define their battle.

In this ideological war, Israel is playing defense.  We are justifying our actions, but our actions are only responses to the attacks upon us. We are forever playing defense. We argue that we belong here; but we are failing to conduct our ideological war like we conduct our physical ones; but pushing the battle into our enemies’ space.

But we can conduct an offensive. If we believe in our ideas, we can attack. We can do more than roll back the advances of our enemies. We can overwhelm them with our vision and our promise in this world.

Writing in the early 5th century, a prominent Christian theologian named Augustine presaged our modern world. He spoke about a City of G-d. But instead of being a physical city, it was a city of shared religious connection that unified disparate people wherever they may be.

We are now seeing a twisted and dangerous version of his insight. The Internet and modern media seem to be producing a multitude of twisted Cities of G-d. We are flooded with people grouping themselves by ideas. They are then forming into international groups with more cohesion than ever before. They are like flash mobs of destruction. Some dominate societies. That is what the Islamic State, Boko Haram and others are doing. They are forming state-like entities with laws and governments and territories.

They are a coming together of like-minded people to establish something new and different. Something dangerous and repulsive.

States like Israel and its allies have a very hard time dealing with this. We want to deal with other states. We want to play by the rules that have developed over hundreds of years. We can’t understand how to battle with people who ignore our model and our world view. We somehow imagine that negotiations with states formed purely for offensive ideological purposes – states like the Palestinian Authority – are a solution.

ISIS Seizes Key Syrian, Jordanian Border Crossings

Monday, June 23rd, 2014

Al Qaeda-linked Sunni militants from the Islamic State of Iraq in Syria captured key two border crossings on Sunday — including one that leads from Iraq directly into Jordan. The other is a crossing into Syria.

Jordanian officials have been dreading this possibility for weeks and monitoring the situation across the border for some time.

The terrorist group has also seized four more towns, further broadening the wide swathe of territory already under its control. That band of ISIS-controlled land now spreads from nearly all of northern Iraq, to the eastern part of the country, and beginning to bleed down to the south, and into the west – where Jordan lies.

Beyond Jordan, ISIS hopes to eventually reach the Sinai Peninsula, Gaza and then finally Israel. Less than a month ago, terrorists from the group kidnapped a Turkish consul in Tikrit and 80 Turkish citizens. Many are still being held hostage.

The terrorist group’s dream of carving out an Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) or an Islamic State of Iraq in the Levant (ISIL) as it is called in Iraq, is rapidly advancing.

A top military intelligence official in Iraq told CBC News on condition of anonymity that the militants’ objective is Baghdad, “where we are working frantically to bolster our defenses.” But the Iraqi military is badly outgunned, he admitted. “I will be honest with you,” he said. “Even that is not up to the level of what is needed. Morale is low.”

Jihadists from neighboring Arab nations – as well as from European countries and even from as far away as the United States – are being drawn to the battle as flies to honey and are traveling to join the conflict, as in the past they traveled to fight in Syria.

Those who have already acquired their objectives in Iraq are now supplying their fellow jihadists in Syria with weaponry won in recent battles to fight in the civil war across the border – or at least, until there is no border.

Meanwhile, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, who has served in office since 2006, has not given any indication he intends to step down. But as he did in Cairo, U.S. President Barack Obama has sent signals he no longer supports the Iraqi leader during the crisis, although he agreed t osend 300 military advisers to retrain Iraqi troops. Obama also said he might consider air strikes to support the Iraqi military, but did not make any commitments.

With Iran opposing American involvement, it seems likely Obama will drag his heels as much as possible, fearing to intervene and offend Iranian sensibilities.

The new Iraqi parliament, set to meet by the end of this month, is expected to elect a speaker and a new president. The president-elect will then ask the leader who wins a simple majority of the 328-member parliament to form the new government.

During the most recent election, al-Maliki’s ‘State of the Law’ party won the most mandates – 92 – but it is not enough to pull a majority for a new coalition government, especially in light of the current crisis.

American Muslims Attacked During Hajj

Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013

American Muslims who traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform what they understand to be their obligation according to the Pillars of Islam were attacked by other Muslims wielding knives and other weapons.

This year’s annual pilgrimage to Mecca, known as the hajj, took place last week, Oct. 13-18. More than 10,000 American Muslims are believed to have participated in their pilgrimage.  For several who went on the trip from Detroit, the experience was traumatic.

A group of Shia Muslims traveled with Imam Hassan Al-Qazwini of Dearborn. Qazwini is the head of the largest mosque in metropolitan Detroit.

One of the many prescribed rituals that is part of the hajj is to travel to the Saudi Arabian city of Mina, 3 miles east of Mecca, where the pilgrims throw a prescribed number of pebbles at Shaitan (“Satan”), represented by three stone walls.

Hundreds of thousands of tents are set up in Mina, in order to accommodate the pilgrims.

After the Detroit Shias entered a tent in Mina reserved for Australian, American and European hajj participants, the violence began.

The American Muslims recounted being approached by a large group of people they later learned were Lebanese Sunni Salafist Muslims. According to an account in the Detroit Free Press,

The Salafis asked one of the Shia men if he was Shia, recalled Seyed Mothafar Al-Qazwini, a nephew of Imam Al-Qazwini. “He responded ‘yes.’ He was immediately attacked by three men, one grabbing him in a choke hold, the others punching him in the face.”

Al-Qazwini said the leader of the Salafis then shouted “Kill them all. Kill the Shia.”

In addition to the physical violence, the American victims reported the perpetrators screaming that they were going to rape all the Shia women who did not leave the tent in 15 minutes.

The Sunnis also referenced a 7th century battle in Karbala, Iraq between Sunni and Shia Muslims in which a Shia leader and family members were murdered by Sunnis.

“We will make this day like the day of Karbala. We will kill all your men and take your women as captives,” the Detroit Imam reported.

“During the attack, the men reportedly shouted “Our [holy pilgrimage] will be complete once we have killed you, ripped out your hearts and eaten them, and [then] raped your women,” according to a report in the Washington Times.

Al-Qazwini complained about the disinterest showed by the Saudi police in the complaints filed by his group.  He also said that a video of the incident taken on his phone by a member of the group was erased by the Saudi police.

State Department officials told a Detroit journalist that the hajj and interior ministries in Saudi Arabia “have confirmed that they are investigating” the incident.
