Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Monday (Feb. 29) at the Knesset with new Egyptian Ambassador to Israel Hazem Ahdy Khairat.

The two men discussed how to strengthen Israeli-Egyptian relations.

Also on the agenda was the issue of the “peace process” and final status talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
